Spring Festival 2017
The Southport Parks Department will host its annual Spring Festival on May 13, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Southport Park, 6901 Derbyshire Rd. Vendors may apply here: Vendor Application 2017
The festival includes:
-Arts and crafts, vendors
– Live music
– Kids games and activities
– Kettle Corn and food vendors will have fair-type food such as funnel cakes, corn dogs, lemon shake ups.
– Face painting
– Local church bake sales

The 2015 Southport Spring Festival is May 9, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Festivities include a Kids Zone, Pet Parade, Homemade Pie Contest, Drive-In Motorcycle Show, Music and Entertainment, Free Bingo, SoArts Adult/Youth Art Contest, a variety of vendors and more! HISTORY OF THE SOUTHPORT SPRING FAIR
The annual 2014 Southport Street Fair took place May 10, 2014.
Local Professional, Steve Elston, served as Master of Ceremonies and DJ for the Southport Street Fair on Saturday, May 10, 2014. Entertainments were available continuously throughout the fair hours.

Southport Elementary School children will provide enjoyment for walkers as they approach the Street Fair. Posters depicting “Springtime Fun” will line Southport Road from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. The ART WALK will span from the Southport Antique Mall to Derbyshire. The student(s) with the best posters will win a classroom party with Mayor Jesse Testruth. So, enjoy a stroll along Southport Road and see the creativity of our younger residents!
40+ vendors selling wine and wine glasses, bows and beads, flip flops and French fries, headpieces and headbands, and much more will be on hand to sell their wares. Many hand crafted, one-of-a-kind items will be for sale.
The food truck line-up includes Whiskey River BBQ, Not Just Fries (Kettle Corn), Mrs. Curl Ice Cream,
Heine’s World Famous Roast Beef, and Crysta Gude Cupcakes.
